About KLTI

KOINONIA Leadership Training Institute (KLTI) is an online and offline institute for theological studies based in Bangalore, India. KLTI strives for biblical and contextually relevant theological studies so that students can make a meaningful and significant impact in their diverse ministries including churches, NGOs, Christian organizations, Bible colleges, and seminaries for the glory of God.

KLTI gives priority to the spiritual nurturing and development of the whole community. We encourage students to contribute to the ministry of local churches. People from all over India and other countries are studying at KLTI. This includes Sri Lanka, UK, Kuwait, Dubai, Cyprus and Lebanon, Malaysia, Germany, Qatar, France.

Our Mission

Our first Diploma in Theology program started in 2008 in Dharapuram, Tamilnadu and 11 students were graduated. Two (2) year Diploma was offered in various centers like Mana Madurai, Nagercoil, Jolarpettai under the leadership and partnership of Rev. Dr. Joseph, Madurai.

Later, the study centers were expanded to Chennai and Bangalore. KLTI was started as the first online Bible College in Sri Lanka in 2019; presently 40 students are studying online in Sinhala language. KLTI is a college for Sri Lankans who are scattered all around the world.

KLTI started B Th in English in Sep 2020, Master of Divinity in Oct 2020 and B Th in Tamil in April 2020.
